Beef greaves meal

Pure beef greaves meal is a protein-rich pet food ingredient made from by-products of the processing of beef fat. During the so called 'fat melting' process wet beef greaves are derived, which are gently dried and stabilized with a natural antioxidant. As the greaves are more or less 'deep fried' in the beef fat they are very palatable to dogs and cats. An additional advantage is that beef greaves are very concentrated in protein, with approximately 80% protein and low in ash. This makes the product very suitable for increasing the protein content in various pet food applications.
