Valuable beef for front-of-pack claims

Our Cat3 beef MDM is mechanically deboned meat produced with a combination of high-pressure and low-pressure separation techniques. That way, we guarantee high yields, low ash content, and good binding and emulsifying properties. The product is derived from raw materials fit for human consumption. The final product is a Category 3 material. It provides pet food manufacturers with a valuable source of beef for front-of-pack beef claims.   

Widely applicable in pet food

IQI Cat3 beef MDM supports binding, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring uniform distribution and consistency. It is suitable for pet food applications where both functionality and meat inclusion are required, for example: 

-Wet pet food such as pâté and meatloaf formats  

-Meat-based treats and snacks  

-Recipes without added binders  

-Formulations requiring a beef meat claim
