FungiBite: mushrooms as a protein alternative for hybrid pet foods

FungiBite is made of king oyster mushrooms, which are grown in a recently developed IFS certificated farm in northern Upper Austria. The product either comes as a plate of frozen mushroom preparation mixed with alginates and on request with plant protein, or as frozen or dried mushroom substrate. Next to a source of protein, it is rich in selenium, vitamins D and B6, fiber, and numerous antioxidants.
