IQI appoints Mike Turnbull as Sales Manager Canada and US

IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients proudly announces the appointment of Mike Turnbull as Sales Manager Canada and US. From April 20, 2026, Mike is responsible for further strengthening IQI’s commercial activities in North America. With well over a decade experience managing strategic pet food accounts in Canada, Mike will be a valuable partner for our North American customers. His appointment underscores IQI’s strategic growth in the US and Canada.  

Background in sales and customer focused growth

Mike has an extensive background in pet food from both a business development and sales perspective. His background includes expertise in strategic account leadership, forecasting, trade spend management, and building long-term customer partnerships. Most recently, Mike was Senior Manager National Strategic Accounts at Petcurean Pet Nutrition, where he was responsible for driving growth with pet retailers and distributors. Prior to that, Mike worked at Hill’s Pet Nutrition, managing pet retail accounts and national business planning.  

From his professional experience, Mike knows the importance of brand value and recognition. Brooke Eiler, Sales Manager North America: “Mike comes to IQI with extensive experience in pet food and deep knowledge about the Canadian market. Mike’s experience and qualities will strengthen IQI’s North American growth strategy. To our customers, he will bring a collaborative and data-driven approach. Mike: “I’ve always been passionate about animals and have spent over a decade in the pet food industry on the manufacturing side, working closely with some of Canada’s largest retailers. I’m excited to bring that experience to the ingredient side of the business, aligning sales, marketing, and operations around shared customer objectives and long‑term growth. I look forward to bringing the goals and needs of our customers to life and working with other passionate individuals in a new area of the industry.”
