IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients is a global provider of premium ingredients to the pet food industry. Founded in 1994, IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients collaborates with customers and suppliers to develop new and innovative pet food ingredients.  

IQI is a global provider with a location in Tracy, California, and multiple locations throughout the United States and in Europe.  We are growing and looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales/Customer Support staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a passion for pets and sustainability. 

As a member of our team, you will provide support to our Customers and Logistics team, along with sales to existing and prospective customers. 

Responsibilities: 

•    Support customer requests for pricing, availability, product documentation, billing, and invoicing information 
•    Develop account relationships. Follow up with customers and answer any questions or concerns 
•    Research new sales opportunities, generate interest, and establish new sales  
•    Work with our CRM system to track customer activity 
•    Willingness to perform other tasks as needed 

 Candidate profile: 

•    College degree (preferred) 
•    Strong knowledge of IQI product portfolio and industry trends 
•    Experience with petfood, food, or feed preferred
•    Independent thinker who embraces change and new opportunities 
•    Sales and/or customer service experience (strongly preferred) 
•    Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and exciting environment 
•    Attend industry conferences and trade shows 
•    Some travel required 
•    Team player with enthusiastic attitude 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•    Excel, Word, and Outlook experience required
